Relieve Anxiety Attacks With a Healthy Diet and Learn So Much More With Panic Away

Eat a healthy well balanced diet to ease the anxiety or panic attacks that keep you in bondage.

Anxiety sufferers are usually deficient in vitamins and minerals such as the B-complex vitamins and magnesium.

B-Complex: Help the nervous system to function properly and help to bring energy to people who are constantly stressed.
Magnesium: Helps muscles to relax and maintenance of the heart muscle.

Eating healthy snacks and meals will reap far more benefits that your favorite comfort foods, those only give you comfort temporarily. Healthy alternatives will keep your mood in check, help to reduce stress and give you a pep in your step.

Causing mood swings, and lack of energy are foods that are refined or “white” such as white sugar, white pasta, white rice or white bread.

Reduce your caffieinated drinks like sodas and coffee. Consume in moderation, considered as a mild stimulant it affects the nervous system by increasing your heart rate. Also a diuretic, it can increase water loss through urination. Healthier alternatives would be water, herbal tea, milk or natural fruit juice.

So eat foods that give you a boost!

What Do I Eat?

  1. Salmon or chicken. Optimal amounts of niacin (B-3) which is needed for overall energy production.
  2. Eat yogurt. Yogurt contains B-12 which can help in producing healthy nerve cells.
  3. Incorporate beans to your diet. Whether lentils, soybeans, navy or pinto they contain optimal amounts of magnesium that aids in muscle relaxation.
  4. Eating fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can boost the body’s stores of vitamins and minerals that are depleted by prolonged stress.
  5. Add spinach, turkey and greens to your diet. These foods contain tryptophan which helps to regulate your appetite and can improve your sleep at night.
  6. Skip the trans-fats. These are all bad for your heart so if it says “hydrogenated“ or “modified“ stay away.
  7. Munch on celery. Celery contains active compounds called phthalides, which can help relax the muscles around arteries and allow those vessels to dilate. With more space inside the arteries, this can reduce blood pressure.
  8. Nuts or seeds. Particularly almonds and pumpkin seeds they are rich in vitamin B12 and zinc which helps to boost your mood.
  9. Foods high in fiber, such as brown rice, brown bread, whole wheat pasta and low in salt.
  10. Chocolate, certainly last but not least. Now we’re talking this isn`t just any kind of chocolate though it needs to be dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is rick in magnesium which so many people are deficient in. Look for the highest percentage of cocoa.

How Panic Away Helped The Pressure of Success

More women experience anxiety but men experience it too! I had dinner with a male friend a couple of weeks ago and we talked a lot about our lives. On the surface he appears as a very successful salesman but inside he suffers from a ton of anxiety. He is now a single dad of 3 little girls and his job keeps him under a lot of pressure, he is always working to be more and more successful. I understand that men have a lot of pressure to bring home the bacon whether for themselves or their family but when he confided in me that he suffers panic attacks when at home by himself I really wanted to help him.

He now has the girls 50% of the time and hates that his family is broken apart. It’s difficult being a single parent but he tries his very best to give the girls stabilty, laughter and fun. When he doesn’t have the girls he is working hard trying to meet his quota. He hates that his self esteem takes a dive if his numbers are down at work. He constantly measures his value by how much he sells. When sales are up he’s really happy but when sales are down he’s down too. Just looking at him he appears very confident, happy and handsome. He has numerous friends, does a lot of charity work, is at all the social events and has a beautiful house. But he admitted those quiet nights at home can be terrifying. The thoughts that swirl around his head are “what if I lose it all?” He came from a very poor upbringing and worked hard to be where he is but with sales it’s never a sure thing. To him losing it all sends him into a state of frenzy. He feels sick to his stomach and gets so wound up that he told me on several occasions he has literally trembled with crazy thoughts going through his mind like “what if I die?”

I introduced the Panic Away program to my friend and I have to admit he was a little hesitant. Although he told me he wanted to deal with it by himself, he couldn’t answer when I asked him if he’s done anything to try and conquer his anxiety . I confirmed that Barry Joe McDonaugh’s Panic Away has helped thousands of people and just to hear me out. He has agreed to deal with it and will take the steps to do so, he’s tired of suffering with the anxiety attacks and has realized he doesn’t have to just live with it – Terrific!

The Many Faces on Facebook and How Panic Away Can Help

I was chatting on the phone with my girlfriend when she mentioned that although she’s a little embarrassed she wanted to talk to me. When I make a friend request on Facebook it’s amazing how much anxiety I feel over whether they will confirm me as a friend or not. I wait with such anxious thoughts….what if they just ignore it…what if they don’t even want to be my friend? What if they don’t think I’m worthy enough? And if they do accept and see that I only have 50-60 friends do I look like a failure because they might have 200, 300, 400?” These are not just passing thoughts, but something that she dwells on and consumes her. She admitted that when she gets so overwhelmed she really believes she’s having some sort of panic attack. If I don’t hear back from the person for days I can’t seem to let it go. The more I think about it, I can feel my heart beating faster, my hands get all sweaty, I feel so jittery and light headed that I have to sit down. The worst part is that I don’t know how to calm myself down.

We place so much unneeded presssure on ourselves to be well liked, perfect and we constantly compare ourselves to others. Why do you have such a dire need to be liked and approved by people?

These irrational and what she would call ridiculous thoughts would come at her so fast that it was impossible for her to stop the sensations, there’s no doubt that fear and self esteem issues are at the root and each of us needs to practice our own self acceptance….because she didn`t have the tools to know how.

How Panic Away Stops the Fear of You Thinking You Are Going Crazy

Dealing with the loss of someone dear to us is painful and difficult to handle. It was devastating when my girlfriend’s mother died. Shortly after her mom’s passing she started to realize how much she was forgetting things. Her forgetfulness really started to terrify her because she was always on the ball, super organized and a perfectionist. Forgetting an appointment or misplacing her keys again and again would throw her straight into a panic attack. However, she immediately thought that this forgetfulness must be from some sort of undiagnosed disease and then those thoughts would attack her… what if it’s a brain tumor or cancer? What if I die?
